Workshop: The Way of a Practical Mystic.
Astra is a healer at The White Eagle Lodge and an experienced workshop facilitator. Today she brings her wisdom to bear on what it is to be a practical mystic.
To be a mystic is to have a deeper and wiser understanding of life and to see beyond personality issues. We all have the potential of being mystics. To be a practical mystic is to bring that deeper understanding and wisdom down into our human world and allow the inner heart to deal wisely and practically with our everyday life. In this workshop we shall be discussing the works of Henry Thomas Hamblin and in particular, his book ‘The Practical Mystic’. Through the meditative process and group discussion we will come closer to the potential mystic within.
Cost £12 £15 non members. (Refreshments will be included)

A warm welcome awaits you. Our holistic day will provide you with the opportunity to learn more about health and healing through a variety of therapies including Reiki, Reflexology, back care, and Colour Aura-Soma. Qualified practitioners from these fields, and others, will be present, so that for a modest fee you can enjoy a 'taster' session(s) of your choice. There will also be meditation, sounding and song and Tai Chi.

Participate in the opening of our Meditation sanctuary at Hamblin hall, Bosham, PO18 8PJ on
Sunday 7th September ~ noon
We very much look forward to welcoming you at the blessing of our Meditation Sanctuary at noon.
We will be welcoming representatives from the Buddhist and Sufi traditions, as well as the Christian, to celebrate the occasion in short readings of poetry and prose. We are also pleased to announce that John Delafield, HT Hamblin's grandson hopes to attend to read from his grandfather's writings on the healing power of silence.

Good news! Bosham Lodge, which once was the family home of Henry Thomas Hamblin, is now available as Bed and Breakfast accommodation. This beautiful home set in the grounds of Bosham House still maintains its original uniqueness, but with some modern features added.
Kate and Steve Thorpe give a very warm welcome and provide stunning rooms overlooking the harbour. This would be the perfect place to stay for anyone travelling a long distance to come to the opening ceremony of our meditation sanctuary on 7th September.
